We are looking for an ambitious and business oriented Senior Mechanical Services Design Engineer to join our expanding MEP design department at ERS.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience ideally, Chartered, or working towards achieving CIBSE Chartership.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a fast growing, diverse and dynamic business at these early stages of sustained growth.

ERS was founded in 2006 providing energy and sustainable design services. Our core business is the provision of energy compliance, environmental assessment, dynamic modelling, BREEAM and building physics analysis.

We are proud to have a loyal and growing client base who return to ERS due to the quality of our staff, friendly approach and genuine desire to provide excellent service. As a result in 2016 we formed a new MEP design department to complement the existing validation and compliance departments to provides a ‘one-stop-shop’ design consultancy service.

We are involved in a diverse range of project types, sectors and project sizes. Our current project appointments include Industrial, multi-residential, commercial, sustainable/low energy, education and Care sector projects.

The Role:

You will be a hands-on focused individual who can uphold our own and industry standards for quality and customer service.

You will be expected to manage multiple projects with minimal support and liaise with internal teams and CAD/Revit operatives to fully design client requirements.

Ideally you will have experience of working within a Building Services Consultancy and familiar with preparing all MEP services performance specification duties, and full detailed design duties.

The role will involve representing ERS at client/project team meetings. The candidate will be expected to build and develop client relationships. Commercial awareness is important as well as managing time and project fees.

Experience and operation of IES and Hevacomp software would be highly desirable. Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit software would be advantageous.
